Scammers answer lost-pet posts claiming to have the animal and asking for money. Never send money before you have seen your pet in person. Leave one identifying mark out of your post, and ask anyone who calls to describe it.

Description Breed, colour, size, collar or tags, and anything about how they act with strangers.

Where last seen or found A street, cross streets or a landmark is plenty. No need for a house number.
