Built in 1863, with its classical columns, two-storied gallery, French window, and fan transom, The Heirloom Inn is an important local representative of the Greek Revival tradition in America. The house, constructed of locally fired brick, served as a private residence for a number of Ione's prominent citizens. In 1980, it was converted to a bed and breakfast inn. Soon after, it was transformed into the unique and charming Wedding Venue it is today.
